The Haralson County Historical Society is a non-profit organization that serves its community by collecting and preserving the shared history of the county and its inhabitants.  We take great pride in bringing members of the community together and encouraging the celebration of our history.  Please take some time to learn more about our latest efforts by visiting our archives page and by learning about some of our recent projects.

The Haralson County Historical Society regularly meets at 6:00 p.m. the second Monday of every month (excluding December) at the Buchanan-Haralson Public Library / Historic County Courthouse on the square, 145 Van Wert St. in Buchanan, Georgia.  Everyone is welcome!
