Greater Haralson Chamber Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for “Love Can Build A Briggs”

Local Nonprofit Joined Chamber to Further Mission of Drowning Prevention and Family Support

WACO, Ga. [May 02, 2025] – The Greater Haralson Chamber welcomed the “Love Can Build A Briggs” charitable foundation with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 9, at the Chamber located at 70 Murphy Campus Blvd, Waco, Ga.

The ceremony celebrated the official membership of “Love Can Build A Briggs,” a local nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about drowning prevention and offering compassionate grief support to families who have experienced loss. Founded in memory of Briggs Ingram, the organization strives to make a difference through water safety education, advocacy, and support programs.

“We were honored to celebrate the mission and impact of ‘Love Can Build A Briggs’ in our community,” said Elizabeth Langley of the Greater Haralson Chamber. “Their dedication to saving lives and supporting grieving families was both powerful and deeply needed.”

The event was open to the public and brought together community leaders, Chamber members, and supporters to recognize the foundation’s important work. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the founders, learn more about the organization’s programs, and show their support for its life-saving mission.
