A new locally owned business is opening its doors in Tallapoosa, bringing another shopping option to the community.

The Greater Haralson Chamber will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Dogwood Decor & More on Friday, August 21, 2026. The business is located at 41 E. Alabama St. in Tallapoosa.

Dogwood Decor & More is a locally owned reselling business offering new, quality home furniture and decor items. The store gives area shoppers a new place to browse furnishings and decorative pieces for their homes while supporting a local business.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will give community members an opportunity to welcome Dogwood Decor & More to Tallapoosa and learn more about what the business has to offer.
