1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. But when caught in its earliest stages, the breast cancer survival rate drastically increases. Powerful in Pink 5K (PiP) is a race focused on bringing awareness and support to local breast cancer prevention efforts in West Georgia area. Saturday, October 19th, Be the Light Missions will host the inaugural PiP event in downtown Bremen. Proceeds will go to The Tanner Foundation's breast cancer and prevention work and other local nonprofits, helping fund diagnostic mammograms and providing awareness around early detection. As PiP begins its efforts to combat this devastating disease, we need your help. Through your financial support, Powerful in Pink can assist individual women in their battle against breast cancer.
