Have y'all been to The Shed at Westover Farms, Bremen's newest event venue?
Angela Awalt would love for you to come check out her family's elegant and comfortable venue, while enjoying a Meet and Greet community event with a traditional St. Patrick's Day meal.
As a mover and shaker of Haralson County, come learn how WEST, Win Win Equine Services and Therapy, is accomplishing its mission to break the legacy of generational poverty, one person at a time, in West Georgia. Most people know Debra Redman is working with children with autism and other special needs, as well as at risk youth. What people don't know is how an equine therapy program can help break the cycle of generational poverty for both children and adults.
In three years, WEST has created significant partnerships with social service agencies along with a successful track record helping children and families. This has been accomplished mostly through the sheer force of will and determination of Debra. Her fierce desire to benefit the community has brought her to the fourth year in business. In January, 2018, WEST was selected to participate in a pilot project with ten other West Georgia nonprofits to become accredited through the Standards for Excellence Institute. This process begins with WEST creating both Advisory and Young Professional Boards. These Boards will be comprised of people from the community that can occasionally lend their expertise to developing WEST into a smart, healthy organization that will serve West Georgia and Haralson County for years to come.
We hope you and your family will join us for a fun evening with our clients, volunteers and directors from WEST.
